Unstoppable Domains and Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently collaborated on a global virtual hackathon that attracted an impressive 1,162 participants. Hosted on Devpost.com, the Unstoppable Hackathon utilized AWS’s cloud computing capabilities and Unstoppable Domains’ blockchain-based digital identity solutions to explore the potential of Web3 and artificial intelligence (AI). The event showcased the integration of AWS’s AI stack, UD Resolution API, and UD Partner API, demonstrating the synergy between Web3 domains and AWS cloud services.
The Hackathon Projects
A total of 55 innovative projects were submitted for the hackathon, each aiming to showcase the possibilities of Unstoppable Domains and AWS technologies. The participants competed in three categories: AI-Driven Tooling, Resolution & User Experience, and Digital Identity. The top projects included AdToken, a platform for blockchain advertising; Web3-GPT, which simplifies domain resolution using AI; and DomainGPT, a Telegram bot for managing Unstoppable Domains tasks. These projects demonstrated the diverse applications of Web3 and AI technology.
The judging panel comprised AI and Web3 specialists from AWS, such as Brad Feinstein and Jean Farmer, as well as experts from Unstoppable Domains, including Sandy Carter and Lisa Seacat. The submissions were evaluated based on criteria such as Creativity and Innovation, User Experience and Design, Technical Execution, Impact and Relevance, and Commercial Viability. The winning projects were commended for their novel use of AWS services and Unstoppable Domains’ APIs, showcasing the potential for real-world impact through the integration of Web3 and AI technologies.
