In a forward-thinking move, Futureverse, a company specializing in AI and metaverse technologies, has announced a strategic partnership with Animoca Brands, a leader in digital property rights and blockchain-based entertainment. The collaboration is aimed at leveraging Futureverse’s advanced technology stack with Animoca Brands’ extensive ecosystem of blockchain products to enhance the metaverse technology. This partnership involves an equity swap valued at $5 million, where Animoca Brands will subscribe to Futureverse shares, valuing the company at $754 million. Futureverse’s tech stack includes Pass for identity management, DOT for creating digital collectibles, and the Swappables and Wearables Engine for composable digital assets. Additionally, Futureverse is developing generative AI with DOC (Dynamic Object Creator) and JEN, a text-to-music generation platform, showcasing the company’s innovative capabilities.
The strategic partnership aims to accelerate the growth and adoption of Web3 technologies by leveraging Futureverse’s development of The Root Network, a user-friendly Layer 1 blockchain optimized for interoperability. Yat Siu, executive chairman and co-founder of Animoca Brands, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “This strategic partnership and mutual investment will allow us to leverage Futureverse’s advanced technology stack to significantly enhance our portfolio of over 400 Web3 investments.” The integration of Futureverse’s sophisticated L1 blockchain and AI-driven tools with Animoca Brands’ ecosystem holds the potential for exponential growth.
Futureverse has already demonstrated its innovative capabilities through projects like Reebok Impact, an AI-driven fashion experience on Instagram, and The Readyverse in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. The Readyverse aims to bring the popular Ready Player One franchise into the metaverse using the Futureverse Platform and The Root Network, creating an immersive discovery experience for users. The collaboration with Mocaverse, Animoca Brands’ growth network, will further advance interoperability across the Moca Network, cementing Futureverse’s position in the evolving metaverse landscape.
