DoodlesTV Launches Super Pass on Coinbase’s Layer-2 Network

Doodles has recently introduced their Super Pass on DoodlesTV, now available for minting on Coinbase’s Base platform. This move marks a significant step in the evolution of Doodles from a mere collection of NFTs to a comprehensive Web3 entertainment company.

Exclusive Access and Community Interaction

Super Pass holders are granted direct access to exclusive drops, premieres, and limited-edition collectibles on DoodlesTV. In addition, fans can engage in direct conversations with their favorite artists, revisit content at their convenience, and participate in community-focused events. Season one of the Super Pass offers early access to various exclusive content, including the premiere of the animated special “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” featuring music by Pharrell. Holders also gain early listening and viewing privileges for three cinematic music videos prior to their public release.

DoodlesTV Super Pass Details

The Super Pass is priced at 0.0021 ETH (approximately $7) and includes four unique onchain album artwork collectibles of varying rarity levels. Upon purchase, users can view their pass within The Stoodio on premiere day, where it will appear alongside their other assets. Furthermore, Super Pass holders are granted complimentary entry to all DoodlesTV premieres and viewing events for original Doodles NFT owners.

Initially gaining recognition during the NFT boom for its profile picture (PFP) NFT series featuring animated characters, Doodles has since diversified its offerings. The company is now transitioning to a digital entertainment entity with a specific focus on animation and branded content. Alongside the launch of DoodlesTV, the introduction of Doodles Records in collaboration with The Orchard from Sony Music is underway. The label’s inaugural release will feature an EP with artists such as Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Swae Lee.

In a departure from its NFT-centric origins, Doodles co-founder Jordan Castro emphasized the company’s broader ambitions, stating, “We are no longer an ‘NFT project'”. This strategic shift underscores Doodles’ commitment to becoming a prominent media franchise and underscores the importance of long-term sustainability over short-term market trends.

The launch of DoodlesTV and the rollout of the Super Pass exemplify the company’s dedication to advancing Web3 technology and delivering engaging experiences to its audience. By prioritizing the creation of new and immersive moments for users, Doodles is at the forefront of redefining entertainment in the digital age.

DoodlesTV’s introduction of the Super Pass on Coinbase’s layer-2 network signifies a significant milestone in the company’s journey towards becoming a comprehensive Web3 entertainment powerhouse. With a focus on exclusive content, community engagement, and strategic partnerships, Doodles is poised to reshape the entertainment landscape and drive innovation in the evolving digital space.
