The Illuvium universe is gearing up for its much-anticipated launch, with the announcement of the Beta 4 testing schedule. The testing is set to kick off with Private Beta 4 on April 30th, 2024. In addition to the testing, a pre-registration campaign has been introduced along with rewarding ‘Play-2-Airdrop’ incentives to enhance the gameplay experience before the official launch.
Private Beta 4, scheduled from April 30th to May 28th, 2024, marks a pivotal phase in the development of Illuvium. Less than 10,000 selected players, referred to as the “lucky rangers,” will have the opportunity to experience the full game loop on the Testnet. These players, chosen from Illuvium’s active community and through marketing initiatives, will be tasked with testing key features such as passport integration, asset minting, Illuvidex trading, fuel purchasing, and travel mechanics. The feedback gathered from these players will be crucial in identifying and addressing any significant issues to ensure a smooth transition to the Open Beta Testnet phase.
Players interested in participating in the private Testnet and earning Airdrop points are encouraged to pre-register on April 15th, 2024. This will grant them exclusive early access to the game before the Open Testnet Phase begins. Following Private Beta 4, the Open Beta Testnet phase will kick off on May 28th, 2024, welcoming all players through the Epic Games launcher for a testing period expected to last 2-4 weeks. Participants in this phase will also be eligible to earn Airdrop Points, with 10% of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool reserved for these Testnet phases.
The transition to the Open Beta Mainnet will involve rigorous stress testing and system evaluations. The remaining 90% of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool will be allocated for this phase, as Illuvium continues to enhance all four games post-launch and introduces new features to elevate the player experience. Airdrop points can be earned simply by playing, allowing players to accumulate points across all three games and share in the $ILV bounty over a six-month period. An upcoming dashboard will enable participants to track their points, streamlining the process as the Open Beta launch draws near.
